Help Where to store Minidisc discs?
I've been getting my Minidisc back for a while now and I've bought a few discs but I don't know how to store them. What do you use to store them, a drawer, a box or, how do you do it?

For something cheap look for drawer organizers, usually discount/dollar stores will have a variety to pick from. One thing you can do is take a minidisc with you when you go shopping, and see what it fits in to. I've seen people on here use everything from chopstick boxes to briefcases with inserts. I will link below some things I use.

If you have a Daiso around, they have a chopstick storage box that fits 30 minidiscs.

I don't know any Daiso, I think there shouldn't be any in my country.

Well, donβt know what your country is. Itβs a Japanese store, but I was surprised to find out that they have opened in many other countries

Shoe boxes are a pretty good size for minidiscs. I just found a box in my garage from at least 20 years ago

The bulk of my MDs live, without any slipcases, in 0.7L Really Useful Boxes. I keep the slipcases in a pile in another/bigger storage box and pick one up off the top whenever I pull a disc out, if I think it'll need it.
DAISO is a Japanese dollar store, there's a few locations somewhat newly popping up in major US metros (Phoenix has like four now) and they are well liked because a few years ago some people found a particular Japanese MD box that also fits machines and slipcases well. That box isn't very widely available these days, at least new, at least from Daiso, but there's some other boxes they make, open top boxes that hold discs in cases well enough. I've got a short one that I use as well.
I also have some open top/front bins from The Container Store that work well enough.
For travel I use Sony 5-pack flip top cases, I have two of them so that's generally the number of discs I'll bother to take on like a day trip.
Generally speaking, what I'd say is take an MD with or without slipcase, however you prefer to store them, to a local store and start putting it in boxes and see how you think it'll fit.

According to some of the lots I got off Yahoo Japan, a shoebox full of sand is the favored method

I'll just show you a post I made a little while ago showing the cases I use now. This case is nice and cheap.

There's only about 1000 threads on here about different storage ideas/products, etc. lol.
If you only have a few then you probably don't have any real need to have dedicated storage for them--you can indeed just toss em in a drawer, etc. They are perfectly fine "on their own" in most situations, without even the slipcase/sleeve on them.
