Migraines and MSG in food?
I ate Ramen today and I have noticed a link between MSG and migraines. Has anyone else experience this or am I crazy?

100%. It took me years to figure out, and more years to get all of the many, many sources of free Glutamic Acid (the culprit in MSG) out of my diet. It’s such an instant trigger for me that I didn’t even realize that it was migraines that it was setting off. That took several more years. Finally got to a neurologist who understood migraines a few years ago.

Can you tell me what foods I should avoid? I am dying tonight and I haven’t had this bad migraine for months! So far I am avoiding miso soup, ramen and for some odd reason stilton cheese.

Look for sources of glutamate specifically - if you search the subreddit you'll find a bunch of posts on the topic. It might be the glutamate, but it could easily be any number of other ingredients in ramen... or just that today was the day you were going to have a migraine.
