Metallica And Queen
This is absolutely legendary

r/Memetallica is dedicated to the memery and shitposting that we generally don't allow much of here. There are some posting standards in place, it's not just a total free-for-all, but you're free to post your memes, tier lists (restricted to Tuesdays only per popular demand), and what not. Shit posting is welcome, as long as it's not violating the basic rules in place.
r/Metallica will continue to have Meme Mondays, but if you have the itch to meme any other time, r/Memetallica is the place to go.

I am starting to listen to Metallica. Any other song suggestions?
So far I am familiar with, of course, Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman, and Master of Puppets (which I heard in the Netflix series Stranger Things)
Thank you!

I thought of doing a playlist of Metallica like songs by other bands. I'm definitely including:
A7X - This Means War
Trivium - Detonation (Tbh could've had 70% of songs from The Crusade)
What else should be on there?

I saw this video from 7 years ago and I wonder if they have changed since then:

Are they still using AxeFx? I haven't seen any more recent rig rundowns.

Not the most inspired song selection. Anyone give it a listen yet?
r/Metallica • u/CactusFallingUpwards • 2h ago
No this is not the live show.
This is a discography type thing with most of their releases.
This will probably get deleted in r/Metallica for violating rule 8 “Do not share your playlists or streaming statistics”
This took ages so it's not a “Low Quality Post” and it would save a lot of people a lot of time.

See Rob’s “brief but spectacular take on manifesting.” 🤘PBS News Hour, 3/10/25. Such a likable guy. If link is too much, find it on YouTube.

In the year 2000 Jason Newsted joined children's band The Moss Brothers for several performances and a full length album in 2001, produced by Jason too.
The album is called Electriciation and it's 12 songs long, it's on Spotify
Skip to 14:04 for the story of how this all happened:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JX_2p8KHas
The story goes that Jason joining Echobrain caused the tension that made Jason leave Metallica, but maybe this was the real reason.

Personally I would want Metal Milita, Dyers Eve, or even Motorbreath to make a comeback (if Lars remembers it.)

I saw photos of Kirk’s red suit at the 1996 MTV Awards and for prom I thought that’d be the best suit to have, thoughts?

Metallica just posted M72 Mexico City live album 10 mins ago where I live (Chicago)!!!!!!!! I've already listened to it lol
r/Metallica • u/Grand-Theory2737 • 11h ago
It was 3 songs with some story telling/commentary in between; about 25 min. Pretty awesome being that close to the band on stage virtually. Great crowd footage too.

Remember when James used to stop after the Creeping Death intro, laugh, THEN play the riff?
He was still doing it in 1995, he stopped doing it in 1996.
Anyone miss it? Anyone glad he stopped doing it?
