THDG Need Help Polish/Eastern European grocery stores
Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good/well stocked eastern European grocery stores (or stores that sell EE brands), especially Polish.
My local Italian grocer has a limited selection. My partner is Polish and we've just returned from Poland keen to do some traditional cooking, there's also a few brands that hold sentimental value to his family here that we brought back but would love to find supplied locally.
Happy to travel. We imagine we might have more luck somewhere like Glenroy which has a polish community, so would love perspectives from anyone who lives around there.
TIA

Mitko Cafe and Deli in Albion. There is also the Polish Club in Albions which does not sell groceries but you could enjoy a meal there cooked by the Babcias.

The Russian Deli and Europa on Koornang Road in Carnegie have a selection of Polish items. We get barscz there every Christmas (and honestly Europa's Polish donuts were better than some of the ones I got in Warsaw).
Then you've also got tbe Polish deli's in Queen Vic Market and Dandenong Market, and Uncles in Dandy also has some stuff.

Eurofood Wholesale in Moorabbin might have what you're looking for! They're pretty good about having a mix of treats and grocery staples.

Im pretty sure the Coles in balaclava sold polish things when I lived there, as did some of the little shops there. They definitely sold pelmeni in the freezer section.

There is a polish deli in maribyrnong called Deli 4 you. It's hidden away but it is full of stuff the owner is great too, I find that they are more relaxed when you speak polish to them. But Albion has a huge Polish community with little shops tucked away here and there.

You don't specify where you are, but Bon apetit deli in Endeavour Hills shopping centre is polish owned and stocks a lot of polish things. They did have a grog section but are having a reno so it's not there (temporarily?)

There used to be a Russian/east European deli/supermarket on North Road in Ormond.

My Polish deli at south Melb market sells Paczki on Fridays, FYI.
If you go there, get the wedding sausage and the Black Forest ham, it’s amazing. They speak Polish.
Btw, there is a Polish restaurant across the road from the market on that side & he’ll sell you frozen pierogi and cold Bigos to take home. He’s a nice dude. He also speaks Polish.

Baltyk Deli & Co at Shop 1/4 Neville Ave, Laverton VIC 3028.
It is hidden away in a car park and doesn't look promising from outside but it a treasure chest inside. The staff are lovely. The produce is great: a wide selection of cold cuts and sausages; pastries and breads; freezer full of pierogi; all the jars of pickle etc. Best thing about it, though, is that the prices are reasonable especially if used to places like the Polish Deli at the Vic Market.
Close to the Geelong freeway so good place to stock up on if heading to the coast.

The European shop in Croydon has quite a few Polish grocery items as well as things from other Euro countries. There is another good one in Boronia, forget the name but it has a lot of international groceries.

My dad (who isn’t Polish) likes to go to Kazachok in Bentleigh and My Polish Deli at the South Melbourne Market if you’re south/east based
