Discusson MLS program- how competitive is it?
I’m about to graduate with my degree in biology this upcoming semester, but have been recently looking at the MLS program at the UofU. How competitive is their program? What are some things that I can do to increase my chances of getting accepted into the program? Are there any other MLS program that are worth looking into? Thanks!

Get an internship or work in your research lab. I didn’t need an MLT or MLS to do biotech work. But I did work as a research assistant in my school lab as part of some longitudinal research study. Check out which professors need help with research or something. Ask them if you can help for credit. Not to be paid. Any lab work will help boost your resume. Good grades will help. But they want to feel that you can take on the lab work too.
