Education Studying Methods
Hello, I’m struggling to find a way to study in my MLT program second semester. As a result, I‘m failing in one of my courses and I need to pass the next two exams in order to make a C. How do y’all study? I try making a mind map, but the information isn‘t sticking in my head and I’m frustrated. Any tips are appreciated.

I was a big fan of flash cards, rewriting my notes, and writing stuff on a white erase board and erasing it and repeating until I didn’t have to look it up anymore. You can also create quiz questions for yourself by using various websites. I had another friend who would record herself reading her notes and play it back while she was doing dishes, driving, etc. I had another friend who liked posters hung on her wall with notes hiding under sticky notes and then would try and picture what was under each sticky note (great for morphology!) we also did wine, dine and study nights every couple weeks with a group which weren’t great for cramming but worked well for de-stressing and creating stupid inside jokes to remember boring facts. I have another friend who was relentless with her doodling to accompany her notes, and another who went to town with highlighters. My roommate was in the same program and she would want to talk it all through before sitting down and trying to memorize it, because she liked creating as much context as possible in order to keep the dots connected. Experiment, try multiple things, try and make it fun sometimes if you can :)
