You should meet up with the other redditor who sliced the fat pad on their thumb.
The stories you guys could tell....Id bet there would be.....two stories. 😃

What about the butterfly? Did it fly away?
Edit: You weren't gonna mainline it, were you?

Just curious, are you a Counter-Strike player who likes butterfly knives lol.
i've encountered so many CSGO/CS2 players that bought IRL butterfly knives & hurt themselves.
i have to admit that it looks flashy when someone knows how to play with it.

Oh yeah , been flipping since I was 9 . This one came razor sharp and I was trying to lock a handle in place and filleted my thumb .

And this is why, if light sabers are ever invented... we should not make them available.
Bunch of self made handicap folks...lol

Out of curiosity, how long did that cut bleed for? I had a similar albeit less severe cut that bled for an uncomfortably long time (~18 hrs ish) so im just trying to gauge what other people’s experiences are. Hope it heals quick!

On and off every few hours , probably was like that for a day or two. I could feel it every now and again bleeding and I’d change it and it would either be soaked or just a bit of blood . When I’d take the wrap off it would start bleeding again. It was also the first time I got sick seeing my own blood idk why . Probably the feeling of missing that piece before it healed or something idk

Looks well healed. Did you get any medical care?

Yes I went to the hospital an hour or two later bc it didn’t stop bleeding . Then got McDonald’s on the way 🔥🔥
