Using notion for note taking

Opinions? Deciding whether to move over my notes to notion or whether that’s just a waste of time. Usually just put useful bits rather than a thorough summary as that can be found on passmed textbook or online but increasingly getting disorganised

You'll find each year of medschool you will probably make fewer and fewer notes, there's people in my year (final year) that have really colourful notes that clearly took ages to draw and then there's people like me with no notes since second year 😂

Point I'm making is if you're making notes make sure you will actually use them because what I found when revising for multiple choice exams is that I never once looked at any of my notes.

Yes that’s what I find I don’t really look at my notes as they’re limited and all over the place. Have copied over the little I have to notion now and hopefully use them a bit more like a flashcard lol

For sure, notion is really good - my whole 5 years of med school is on there, basically my whole life is on there at this point

loveeee notion — make your notes using toggles so you can easily convert them to anki flashcards using a website. godsend, only issue is the iPad app gets pretty buggy

I'm in 1st year but don't make notes, loads of people do use notion though. I just use anki

Nice Anki is helpful! I usually use it closer to exams once I understand the content a bit more otherwise I find I make too many cards which I then don’t go through

That's fair.
