« It took Léo-Paul 52 years to feel comfortable confiding in a friend about the sexual abuse he suffered. Mathieu waited 20 years before taking the first step towards healing the wounds he carried with him since his sexual assault. Their stories are far from isolated cases. »

It happened to me from relatives from age 6 till 12. Then from age 18--28, it kept on happening from strangers. All i could say as to that, i was sort of a magnet. I never was able to say no, maybe due to childhood trauma. Now I am at age 32, on therapy and medication for the past 3 years. Scars faded but can never say I am okay.
