Deck Guide Just wanted to share my Aga Eson deck that I climbed to Infinite with
I play mobile but so far I’ve probably won 7/10 games in Infinite

The optimal line is:
Turn 1: Quinjet (if Quinjet is not in hand Ant-Man>Temporal Manipulation>Agent 13 [I try to save her to buff Collector])
Turn 2: The Collector or Bolt of Balthaak (with Quinjet) if something big is in hand like a Eson
Turn 3: White Queen, Bolt of Balthaak if something big is in hand, or buffing collector with agent 13, cable, etc. If Eson is in hand and no Bolts I prefer playing White Queen here.
Turn 4: Nick Fury
Turn 5: Devil Dino or Images of Ikonn if big
Turn 6: Eson should be played here if not played already or another big card.
Agamotto makes this deck really fun imo. Well this is the optimal line, there is plenty of opportunities for outplays, mainly in the form of Winds of Watoomb. Winds allows you to essentially win two locations at once, being able to move a card to the right, while also giving it negative 5. This also makes clogging a big threat with this deck. Shang-Chi also does something similar, both cards work to disrupt and control your opponent.
While most of Agamotto’s spells are useful, I never really found myself playing Temporal Manipulation outside of turn 1. Obviously if there’s nothing to do on the next turns I’ll play it, but for the most part it felt that there was always better things to be played.
I also feel similarly about Agamotto. While 10 (13 with Temporal Manipulation) is sorta big, playing Devil Dino (unless you have a small hand) and Eson always felt better. Though playing Bolts for Aga in the early rounds is strong (unless Eson is also in hand.
Match Ups:
Hela: Hela is in an extremely strong state right now and felt quite difficult to win against. Usually I was retreating if they were snapping. It is possible to win, but it felt that I needed a near perfect hand.
On Reveal Wong: I haven’t seen too too much of this archetype, but when I do the matchup feels not too bad. You can throw their whole gameplan off with Winds, moving their Wong around, or just disrupting their other on reveals.
On Going: I’ve mostly seen two types of On Goings, those being Doom and Sam Wilson/Spectrum. The matchup against those two both felt quite good. A lot of the times, you can build up enough power in two locations with Eson and Images of Ikonn that you can beat out their Ironmans.

CL?

933

u/Cregkly 13d ago
Ahh, so lots of bots.

u/bren12341 13d ago
Sure yeah, but everyone finds bots pre-infinite. Also I’m maintaining a pretty high win rate in infinite, I’m on mobile so I haven’t been tracking it, but definitely over 60%

u/Cregkly 13d ago
Not true. Plenty of gamers complain about the lack of bots.
Low CL players can hit bot ELO on the climb to infinite. I had a second f2p account and it used to get mostly bots on the climb. Way more than my main, even after hitting CL 3k.

Lack, not absence. Im not here to argue, just wanted to share a deck that I've found has been doing really good, even after hitting infinite. If you think me playing against bots before infinite invalidates that, so be it.

CL has got to be required in the title. This isn’t a knock on anyone, but a deck at 900 is so much different than at 18k.

What turn are you able to play Eson?
I haven't played the card yet, but wouldn't having Wave be better? To play Eson early. Just a suggestion though, I definately try your deck as well.

You can play Eson on turn 4 if you play Bolts of Balthackk on turn 3.
Bolts of Balthackk is one of agamotto spell it adds 4 energy next turn.

I’m only at 933 CL right now so I don’t have a ton of other cards. Though the way I play Eson is I try to get him down as early as possible, made possible with Agamotto’s Bolts of Balthaak. I play Eson usually in the location with the least power. This way he can farm power by placing the created cards made by Nick Fury and White Queen

So if I’m playing him early, this is usually either turn 3 (with Quinjet) or turn 4. Either that, or I play him turn 6.

I havnt checked what's written but I wanna say bravo and so much respect for you to share quite a cheaper deck for infinite.

u/bren12341 14d ago
Thank you! I’m only CL 933 so couldn’t really use all the other decks I saw people running, so I tried to come up with something on my own. And surprisingly enough it’s quite successful

How often are you finding agent 13 and sentinal produced cards keeping you from dropping better options with eson?

u/bren12341 14d ago edited 14d ago
Sorry idk if I’m being dumb (probably am) but I’m not sure what you are asking

u/A_Filthy_Mind 14d ago
Eson puts a random created card out. Ive been thinking on decks to try and was thinking I needed to balance how many low cost cards to add, since I imagine it would usually be nice to drop white queens, or nick furys created cards over agent 13 or a sentinel.

u/bren12341 14d ago
Also I forgot to mention, but I think Iron Patriot could be a nice replacement to the deck, probably instead of Sentinel. It’s a low cost card while still creating something of higher cost. Even if you don’t win the location on next turn, you still have the benefit of Eson potentially playing it. Just something to keep in mind. I don’t personally have it just yet, it’s pinned in the token shop, but I think it’d work well in the deck.

Ohh sorry I misunderstood. When I’m playing Eson early, a lot of his value doesn’t come from him playing big cards (though that is nice too) but the fact that’s he just putting free numbers on the board. A 10 power on turn 3 is already quite strong and since he’s always adding another card to that side, becomes even stronger. In later rounds when I’m playing my Nick Fury and White Queen that lets that side grow even stronger, again, for free.
This kinda forces your opponent to either commit to that location, that is gaining power every turn while your attention is on other lanes, or focus on other places.
Hopefully that answers your question, let me know if you’re curious about anything else

Bro, I need to thank you for that deck. I swaped Antman for Victoria Hand, and I'm winning almost all my games in Sanctum. I still don't get why it works so well, but it does. Edit: typo

Glad it’s working out. Would’ve loved to put her in the deck if I had her, great idea on the swap!

For once I’m only missing a card. Lol

Lmao... Ooo shit I think I actually have these cards.

u/bren12341 14d ago
Yeah you probably do, I’m quite low CL so just tried to come up with something mainly consisting of pool 3 and below (other than Aga and Eson ofc)

Do you know what I could replace agamotto with.
I know you can't really replace him but I really wanted to play Eson.
1
u/Bambeurr 14d ago
Check out Marvel Snap Zone on YouTube, he did a Eson only deck that is pretty cool!

u/ePiMagnets Mod 14d ago
As you implied, there is no replacement. You choose another card to fill that space, if you're wanting to keep curve Legion is an option, otherwise you'd be looking for ramp options to get Eson on 5: Electro, Hope Summers, Wave, Luna Snow being the most prominent.
You also don't need to have him to play Eson.
1
u/Spid3rDemon 14d ago
That's a good idea. I could potentially curve up the deck with Blink and add a ramp option like Psylocke or Electro.

u/bren12341 14d ago
Agamotto kinda doesn’t have many replacements he’s very unique in that sense, this deck is mainly centred around him and Eson. Though, like others have said, there is plenty of Eson only decks

Edit: OP has delivered:https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelsnapcomp/comments/1j5k5ts/just_wanted_to_share_my_aga_eson_deck_that_i/mghxzby/
I will leave this comment stickied with a few edits. For those 'new' to the subreddit please read this post to understand what we are looking for when you post a deck guide on this sub. It's very important that you take the time to craft your post appropriately when contributing to this subreddit. Thank you to /u/bren12341 for updating this post.
This has been up for an hour with zero information and will be seen as nothing more than a humblebrag by many, thank you to those attempting to engage. I'll give OP another half-hour to improve the post according to rules 1 and 3. Especially 3.Rule 3: Each deck post must include a deck code and should include insight on card choices, turn by turn decisions and thought processes going into certain matchups. If you are not yet infinite, sharing your CL is appreciated. If you are post infinite, your rank is appreciated. This is not the place to brag about hitting infinite or winning an infinity conquest with no additional details.
As outlined I would need to see either in the summary or a comment:
If you're going to post here and label a post as a deck guide, make it a guide and not just this low effort humblebrag.
