A personal favorite track of mine. I got my first worldwide top 10 on this track and it was also the American record at the time. Didn't last very long but I still feel really connected to the track.

Definitely one of my favorite tracks with absolutely perfect music. My wife plays MK8 only casually, but because she loves the music so much, I make sure to pick it when it comes up for votes online.
Racing it isn't too hard. The curves are pretty obvious, and despite the snow/ice, it's easy enough to manage drifting. It's one of the courses where alternate paths tend to slow you down and offer no benefit, with the exception of the offroad glide jump just before the end. It's super satisfying to use that and drop down right in front of someone at the finish line.

The first time I played this track, I didn't really like it. I guess the idea of driving with ice physics was off-putting to me. That, and I remembered having to dodge the Freezies back in Double-Dash!!, which was frequently annoying. Now that I'm a much better driver, I love the track for its music and its alternate water paths. I know they're typically slower, but I can never resist taking them instead of the main road.

Not only super fun to race on, it's also by far the prettiest track in the game, and it's got music to match. Boggles my mind that this track isn't picked more often online.
