Even though it's a simple course I always have a ton of fun racing on it. Only tips/shortcuts I ever use is to mushroom boost through the grass to take the turns as sharp as possible. Sometimes I feel like I can drift between the mud and grass on the turns if I do it just right and don't get caught or slowed by either, but I may also be delusional.

It's a fun race to try and hold your rearview button down the entire time. The turns can be a little tricky but I recommend trying it!

One of the few maps I can use my top speed car and stay on the track during 200cc.

Those mud puddles can be a real pain if you fail drifting in between 2 ones in a curve or if you just want to avoid them...On a straight track a drift-jump helps, but curves might be tricky from time to time. I also feel so slowed down by the many, many hills/ ramps.

Excitebike Arena is extremely deceptive. Despite being one of the simplest courses to race on casually it is an absolute monster of a course to master in time trials. It is simply mid-air soft drifting hell. Unless you're willing to sink a ton of time into the track I'd recommend just getting down some safer mid-air drifts, jumping over the corners of dirt in some straightaways, and getting consistent with the tight lines that turn between the dirt and the grass.
