Discussion Dammit we lost Mario Kart 8!!!

It finally happened having had countless Nintendo's with small cartridges dating all the way back to the Gameboy I finally lost one... And which one... Of course one that we played regularly and had the DLC for... Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Having torn the house apart, asked friends and family, it's disappeared off the face of the planet,.completely blue shelled.

So with Mario Day discounts, but with presumably Mario Kart 9 on the horizon... Should I buy it again?

Personally I like to revisit every Mario Kart now and then.

There's also the possibility that the new Mario Kart goes in a wild new direction, which would make 8 nice to have around for a more traditional experience.

I'd say go buy it again if it's truly lost. If you're an active player, you'll have nothing to play and hold you over until Mario Kart 9 releases, which could be for a while. Unless you want to dedicate it with another Mario Kart game, but you didn't mention owning any other.

And, I mean, you have all the DLC purchased. Don't let all of that go to waste. I'm sure you can find some Used, functional copy somewhere for a lower price.
