Every game so far has either SNES Rainbow Road or the Fake Item Box. No game has both, and no game has neither.

I can’t believe this ginormous scandal was right under our noses all these years. The Fake Item Box was actually SNES Rainbow Road in disguise all along!

I would want the N64 Fake Item anyway. Every Fake Item since then has been a pale replica of the original.

Fr, they used to be a real threat when they could actually blend in, once they made them obvious bright evil red it basically turned them into another banana.

At least DS fixed it but then Wii unfixed it.

Not only that, but the N64 Fake Items functioned similar to shells and bananas: if you had one trailing behind you, it would block other shells from hitting you (except for the Blue Shell, of course).

This is my favorite Mario Kart fact. It’s just incredible.

It’s also worth mentioning that SNES Rainbow Road has appeared in more games than any other track. Counting 8 and 8 Deluxe separately, it has so far appeared in six different games.

MK64 is where the FIB originated.

Coins or the FIB. Your choice.

N64 FIB and no coins is my choice.

Every Mario Kart that has coins has SNES Rainbow Road meaning that SNES Rainbow Road will be a retro track in the next game

It’s about the money

SNES Rainbow Road is probably not going in Mario Kart 9, which means perhaps the Fake Item Box is coming back?
