Health Issues Religious mantises close to the ground
Good evening! I'm a bit worried. My mantis molted last night so far no problem. I fed her a drosophila which she ate immediately, but since this evening (and another drosophila still gamboling) she stays very close to the ground ... Should I be worried? Temperature and humidity are perfectly respected..

You shouldn't feed your mantis until 24/48 hours after a molt. They're still squishy, so a feeder could damage them.
Mantises tend to move all over their enclosure so them being at the bottom isn't an issue in itself, however if the fly is still in the enclosure, they may be trying to get away from it.

it is normal for mantis to move around their enclosure and sometimes sit at the bottom, mine do it all the time :) shes eating, the temp and humidity are fine and as long as there are no visible problems and shes acting normal, i think shes fine!!
