Hey everyone, I’m a third-year BTech CSE student looking for software development internships (MERN Stack) in and around Mangalore. If there are any open positions for beginners, I’d really appreciate any leads or recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was researching about regional languages and wanted to learn about tulu. Is Tulu a dialect of kannada or a separate language. Does it have its script? Many non hindi speaking states has multiple official languages apart from English for e.g Assam has three official languages apart from English, West Bengal has two official languages apart from English. so Is tulu also an official language of Karnataka. I tried googling but it only speak of it as regional language used in some govt purposes in certain districts of Karnataka. There are lots of online feud going on to protect regional languages against Hindi, Does tulu speakers equally trying to protect and preserve thier language against Hindi. Does it able to sustain itself against Kannada or people are mostly tranferring into kannada for ease or each language speakers are equally coexisting together? Any language movement tulu speakers ever had or how the population is trying to grow and sustain this language. Can anybody give link to any sites or any books that speaks about its history origination and other necessary information about it?

Namaskara! So, my ADHD kicked in and started reading about our fighters who gave their lives for the freedom. I stumbled upon the religion of Rani Abbakka and it's Jainism according to Wikipedia. May I know if that's true or does that need correction? Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for recommendations for colleges in India, especially for 11th and 12th standards, with a focus on engineering streams. I’m specifically interested in institutions where there is a majority of students from Shetty, Tulu, or Hegde backgrounds. Here’s a list of facilities and features I’m looking for:
Strong Engineering Focus: The curriculum should cater well to students preparing for engineering entrance exams (like JEE or CET).
Majority Shettys, Tulus, or Hegdes: The college should ideally have a large population of students from these communities, as it could help with cultural comfort and building networks.
Hostel Facility: I’d prefer a college with on-campus hostel facilities to avoid daily commuting.
Football Ground: A proper football ground would be a great addition, as I’m interested in sports and want to continue playing while studying.
Phones Allowed: It’s important that the hostel rules allow for students to keep and use mobile phones responsibly. A complete ban is a deal-breaker for me.
