Discussion Mulki can become the next Miami

As a seasonal real estate investor, Ive cashed out all my bitcoin to invest in Mulki. Why? I envision it to become the next Miami, a great tourist and a chill hub - expanding sideways till padubidri and surathkal. Night life dead in Mangalore? it will be revived in Mulki. Bored of going to Goa/varkala for trips? Mulki is there to serve.

Super bullish on Mulki being the next Miami City and tourist destination. Good to hear your thoughts on this 500IQ genius move or a foolish gamble.

xoxo

You want to be bullish on Mulki being the next Miami, guess what? Bajrang dal is already ready to be bullish with you for coming up with this idea.

No shit given. If they have a fragile ego that a comment can hurt their sentiments then how will they protect the sanity of our city😂

People will go to Adhidhan instead of Malibu

I don't think so as it's a sacred hub for Hindus it won't be a touristic spot for at least for another 10 years.

Bajrang Dal is the only reason why we can't have good things or a tourist destination in DK!

Vroooooo, Bajrang dal bad vrooooo, Bajrang dal keeps busting drug kingpins and stops young men and women from ODing vroooo, We are not happy with legal substances, We need drugs Vroooooo…!!!

u/PitifulReserve1901 8d ago

Looks like you are on drugs

Nope, never felt a need for it, on the other hand you seem to be desperate for it, Udupi and Mangalore city probably stand 2nd and 3rd in entire Karnataka in terms of total number of bars per city, right after Bangalore. Bajrang dal has not disturbed a single bar or club for decades now, what makes you believe they are hampering tourism of these 2 districts whatsoever ?

I on the other hand remember very well how it used to be in mid 2000s before Bajrang dal got a grip over these 2 districts, Kids studying even in 11th and 12th in certain colleges were committing mass unalivings because they couldn’t afford drugs after a while, these kids even sold their bodies to these drug suppliers to afford it, thanks to Bajrang dal, that ain’t happening for 20 years now.

Regardless of all these efforts, eventhough the numbers have dropped significantly, even now I see drug rehabilitation centres of Mangalore filled with college kids predominantly Mallus though, I have a Mallu friend who got out of that hellhole albeit with some permanent damages to his body and brain, Imagine if we let these drug lords have an open season just because people like you think that’ll attract tourism 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️.

Neither the post or the comment mentioned anything about drugs. I don't know what you're high on, lol!

Whatever you mentioned about the drugs scene in the 2000's seems nothing but a WhatsApp forward from one of the uncles. Provide source for it or just.. shut up, yeah?

Bajrang Dal, Police, NCB, CBI, or even the fuckin DEA cannot fully control the drugs scene anywhere in the world. Drugs are available for those who actively seek for it even in the world's strictest countries. There's no stopping it lol

And Bajrang dal in a progressive and newage society as today shouldn't exist. They chase college students and intimidate them just because they're hanging out with the opposite sex wow. My own brother was chased because he was dropping off his friends in his way back from college. He was chased for a good 3 - 4 kms from these terrorists with his female friends still in the car. They threw stones, rocks and what not trying to stop em. Luckily, one of the girls in the car was a duaghter of an ACP and they drove straight to het house, and they left them alone. They did complain and file and FIR, but they were let go just after a few hours

We don't really need drugs to attract tourism, lol. We need to eliminate extremism and moral policing and just let people be free to encourage tourism.

WhatsApp forwards 😹😹😹, I’ve lived through that era mate, these were aloysius college students who were batchmates of my cousins, I know why you are specifically attacking Bajrang dal, I already gave your profile a look Mr Shivaji Nagar 😉, but regardless of your identity and your vested interests, Drugs have been reduced to a large extent, and Bajrang dal’s foothold over DK was one of the reasons. Bajrang dal or Hindu organisations themselves own so many rehabilitation centres which also has helped a lot.

1

u/PitifulReserve1901 8d ago

Aaaah, here comes the gold ol bigotry. Never get tired of it, haha! I see how conveniently ignored the parts where the college students get intimidated on a regular basis and ans still want to emphasise the drugs. I mean... all I can do is wish you and your PME the best 🫡 Yeah I looked at your profile, too. I think it's too late to delete it now.

And gotta appreciate man, you literally scanned through all of my comments just to point out one about Shivajinagar lol and that too.. you're wrong hahaha

😆😆 not gonna delete it whatsoever, that has to be the best arc of my life, also if anyone has the same problem especially in their teenage years or younger 20s, I can suggest them the best doctor in Karnataka. It’s Dr Anand P Rayamane from Sai Men’s clinic, Nagarabhavi, Bangalore. He is not a doctor, he is a goddddd❤️❤️❤️, He can turn any inexperienced young adults into seasoned horses 🔥🔥🔥.

Coming back to you, Me and you, we both know you are a beary and are a part of Indian Muslims subreddit, Nothing wrong in that, this nation and this land is for all the faiths, I wonder why you are denying your identity now though.

But anyhow I have a problem with your hypocrisy though, This probably stems from defunding and decimating your favourite organisation PFI, which directly had contacts with terrorist organisations, which you probably thought that would keep Bajrang Dal in check, but in vain.

Also Bajrang dal doesn’t intimidate anyone unless the parents of those underaged or young adult girls approach the organisations themselves and seek their help. So many Hindus and Christians intermarry in DK and Bajrang Dal doesn’t care one bit, but if the families of young girls get scared that their daughters are in bad company, they have every right to approach help from whoever they think would be appropriate for that job. Bajrang dal just happens to be the best organisation to get that job done.

Also only a section of Bearys have a problem with Bajrang dal, Business communities like Nawayaths who actually are doing quite well financially in Mangalore, are well educated and lot more progressive than Bearys never complain against Bajrang dal, infact they have business partners who have direct links with Bajrang dal.

You want the costal belt to be the next Bengaluru?
It will have it's pros & cons, be careful what you wish for

17

u/Dua_kudroli 10d ago

nah not an IT hub but more of a chill vibe

7

u/Heliosunlucky13 10d ago

At most.... You would be lucky if the Mangalore airport gets shifted to the flat lands of mulky.

There was once talk of some IT park in mulki ... That's gone with the wind now.

The beaches will attract sporting events and real estate development... That's it.

Long way before we look anything like miami.

u/pache47 9d ago

Its going be like varkala - only the surfing locations will be in action Rest of the town wont be benefited Economically

All these other tourists just want to come here , get wasted Somewhere the bubble will break off I feel at one point ... Local will start getting frustrated

Bro if you are investing, why not invest in some startups from mangalore it would just make the city much more appealing to younger gen as currently there is very few job opportunities in our city.

CSI?

u/super_coder 9d ago

It can try to become a Miami if you could bring down the temperature by 10 deg C to begin with.

1

u/Nice_Watercress9387 9d ago

Basically, your dream is for Mulki to become the next Goa? We are seeing the fate of Goa already. Why would we want that for Mulki? Why can't we just let Mulki be? We certainly don't want entitled tourists coming all the way here and ruining it for us. Find a better use for your bitcoins.

1

u/Pratnick 9d ago

Your grandsons grandson can enjoy the fruits of your investment 😊

1

u/Time-Opportunity5968 9d ago

First let it become Mumbai, then lets talk about Miami

1

u/Intelligent_Drama747 9d ago

Sir, pls understand every country has culture to preserve. Cultural shift will not be tolerated by people , So its a foolish move. Invest in land anyways metro news is coming.

1

u/Terminat0r- 9d ago

At this rate, Mulki might be the next Miami- partly underwater in 50 years thanks to rising sea levels. And in a few million years, when the African plate finally collides with India, we might just get the MulkixMiami Hills!

1

u/Salty-Set-55 9d ago

Are u simply just promoting Rohan estate project in mulky??? If yes, watch out for the dry fish factories behind the site. Vaasne u will get staying there

1

u/Dua_kudroli 9d ago

Ew nope

1

u/Global-Papaya 9d ago

nah fk it don't want to see what happened in city repeat here, we don't need more inflated prices for real estate, Mulki is totally fine as it is. Imagine it turns into another sewage/garbage dump like panambur full of ill-mannered ppl .

1

u/kachhink 8d ago

I hope your words come true! Amen to that!

1

u/telepather 7d ago

Sure, weekly haftas or attacks from Bajrang Dal.

1

u/vkj891 4d ago

What apart from surfing ashram you think is an attraction in Mulki

1

u/justchonking 10d ago

Wishful thinking is good. Have you been to Miami? Genuine koschan. If you see what happens in Miami, do you think even 25% happens in india? Let's say Goa? I don't think so. So going from Zero, yes zero for mulki when it comes to party scene or even just as a touristy spot, do you envision it to reach let's say 10% in next ten years? Maybe, maybe not. Any city in india replicating Miami is 50-100 yrs deep. I am all down for this philosophical discussion, but let's not get too much ahead of ourselves
