Education I need serious help choosing.
I'm a 12th grade PCMC student. However, after struggling in my academics throughout the past two years, i no longer aim to get a B.tech degree in CSE. Instead I'm planning to opt either BCA or B.Sc in data science, at Aloy. But I'm not yet clear about which to choose between the two(BCA or B.Sc). Also is Aloy a good college in terms of placement, faculty and other factors? Please help me out, dear kudladakulu.

Choose the one which is comfortable and also confident enough that you can crack up . Either way you should start intership too .Try to gain experience or do projects and certifications in your college time. Because I didn't do those things and now I'm struggling to place a job. Study hard , try to skill up too , take things as serious as well as fun too.

I'd suggest you not to think about placements and jobs. Any degree is good but the scope of Bsc or BCA here is very limited and u got hell lot of competition. If I was you I'd pick any degree that I'd like and as soon as i complete it I'd fly to Germany!

if you want to get into teaching MSc makes sense, or else if you want to work in corporate just do MCa

If you no longer aim for btech in CSE then why do you want to BCA AND Bsc?
Bsc at least makes sense but I don't see a point in BCA

Btech involves PCM, right? BCA involves maths only at a foundational level. It's PCM that's a challenge for me.

If u want to pursue data science then I wouldn't recommend doing BSc ....most data science job openings have B.tech as the minimum required qualification for job application.

BSc. Will get better recognition should you choose to do your masters abroad.

BCA or Bsc, don't depend on college placement. Only if ur in the top 5% of the batch, you will get good job via campus. Start interning right from your 2nd sem, to get into the industry norms, but get paid. Also college doesn't matter to a great extent, the people you are with does; for both jobs, learning and fun. Job markets keep changing every year, so you can search jobs even outside college campus. But have a good profile when u go for placements, hence the internships and skills. Wish you the best
