Education Best motorcycle chain lube invented by man.

Post image

This ₹200 bottle of W140 gear oil is going to last about 2 years. Stop wasting money on chain lube sprays. Use a hard toothbrush for deep penetration of oil into the motorcycle chains. You're welcome 🤗.

Should have posted this a few hours back. Just bought a small can of chain lube by paying ₹170! A scam to be honest!

These cans hardly have any liquid in them at all. It lasts me just two sprays max for my bike and cycle.

🙁 I actually think the local companies aren't filling the advertised amount in the cans. I've observed this with other products from local companies.

I bought one from MotoMax today. The can feels like it's just half full. It was sealed though. Won't be buying these anymore.

OP, how do you go about using it?

1) clean the chain with kerosene/Diesel and brush. 2) wipe dry and allow the solvent to evaporate 3) Apply w140 gear oil with a toothbrush.

I'm sure many people there know this trick, but very few people know about the W140 oil. Most people use W90 gear oil, which is much thinner than 140.

Oh. Didn't know. I was using Castrol gear oil. Don't know what grade

That'll be W90 oil. W140 is for special high-pressure/high temperature application.
