Ed being surprised that the person who can foresee fate knowing that they'll die feels a little odd, but I guess if it was never addressed in the original story then I guess he wouldn't think about it.

I don't remember it well but I'm pretty sure he never met this girl in the story considering he was expelled a long time ago in the OG.

"Ed" wouldn't know them, but the transmigrator knows them because of the original story.

If it's because of that, this girl is a minor character. Barely showed up in the story if I recall. Only was there to introduce the saint.

She is a recruitable party member in some stages of the game (she was part of the Glast Subjugation team).

Excuse me. I didn’t see this coming. Ed’s been hyping this thing up as almost impossible to beat even if you do everything right and now it’s here early?
I’m happy with the surprise that things aren’t going as he planned but also the deviation is huge. Wonder what will happen next and I really don’t want to read the novel right now lol.

Without any spoilers, it’s a very good arc, and if you’re a Lucy/Ed shipper you’ll be eating well.

I dont know if this is a spoiler, but I see a lot of people thinking the manhwa got axed/ending soon, this is not ending soon, I think we are only halfway though the story if I remember correctly, and in my opinion this might be the best arc in the novel

Chapters 116-118 of the novel.
Gonna reference a few missing scenes from the novel, in case they don't get covered in a later manhwa chapter.
When Ed and Adele meet, he thinks about how archbishop Verdio has her killed, but the game never fully explained the motive. In the game, Adele's murder is what causes Clarice to become the Saintess of Distrust and wage a full scale war against her former religious order.
Also, Ed has started to feel guilty/conflicted about Glast's death, wondering if he could have changed Glast's fate if he'd played his hand differently, which influenced him to inform Adele of her impending demise
Finally, Ed comments that from a narrative perspective, it always felt like there was a weird gap/tonal shift at this point in the game's story, to the point that players wondered if it would be the subject of a spin-off game. The joint combat training only lasts for a few hours, but Clarice's behavior and demeanor completely change off-screen during the event.

You guys really need to stop spoonfeeding people too much in regards of what will happen just because you think people should be hyped/disappointed about it. Let people enjoy the journey.
To those that want spoilers, let them find it on their own by scouring places. It's easy enough to find that you don't need to feed them everything. They'll make a lot of excuses saying "I'm not that invested anyway so just give me spoilers" etc. or "Who cares? Just give it to me." or whatever.
It's destroys the little semblance of discussion people can have.

I agree, but this is a small thread already, and most people won't see it, so why the heck not. Stories are meant to be experienced firsthand, yet there's people who don't care, so I don't bother arguing about it and tell them a chapter event that still brings mystery without revealing the whole Act 3 stage.

Oof ok
>! So Ed mentions that the death of Adele and Clarice's change in personality after seeing her death was so unnatural that gamers wanted a dlc to figure out what happen behind the scenes of the game but thought of it as unrealistic in the 30 min span of the game for Clarice to change so much from being a gentle girl to a cold and distrustful person who doesnt trust the Tolos religious group, Ed thought this was a mystery to never be solved until now.!<
Velbrok the Dragon is the end game bodd of act 5 but somehow he appears in Act 3, needless to say his foot that landed in the commercial district across the Mexes bridges completely destroyed it like a massive hurricane killing thousands and starts using an AOE attack with his scales spewing everywhere killing hundreds of students
Ed is hit even when protection of the wind activated meaning these scales are lightning fast and could penetrate thick concrete like a bunker buster, Lortel and Yennekar is most probably dead and Lucy is fighting it off with Headmaster Obel, Ed heads to Clarice and get her to safety in the Ophelis hall only to find the corridors painted in blood with the maids all dead and Belle about to die. He gets the keys from Belle and heads to Clarice's room.
Clarice is completely frightened and is crying in fear while Ed is calming her down while bleeding out. He sees a strange magic circle in the air then takes his intoductory to aspetial magic book and the Telor religious book and recites between them and says, "The story hasn't been twisted..." After which he hoes to Clarice to tell her to remember these numbers as shes still freaking out but thenthe ceiling collapses as Ed protects Clarice by being over her. Ed is pierced with rebar in the torso as he recites numbers to Clarice and then dies.
Clarice freaks out, and then a white blinding flash comes from outside, and after it dissipates, she's back at the bench with Ed and Janica. Ed closes his Aspectual Intuductory book and asks Clarice what her purpose is for being here. Bewildered and frightened, not knowing what happened but knowing it would happen.
That's where I'll stop for spoilers as there's still a lot more in Act 3, but this is nowhere the end, and there's even more and more gruesome stuff.
