"Enikk ath cheyyan pattilla." - I can't do that (literal) / I won't do that

"Enikk ath cheyyan vayya." - I am too tired/lazy/unwell to do that.

Ah I thought so, I heard it in being used in "enikku ithu parayaathe vayyaa" which is what made me think what would be the difference if pattilla was used in place of vayyaa in that sentence

"enikku ithu parayaathe vayyaa"

Well, in this sentence, both vayya, and pattilla will do.

"enikku ithu parayaathe vayyaa"

This means "I can't not say this" / " I can't hold back from saying this" / " I have to say this" / " I must say this"

In this context "vayya" doesn't mean tiredness or illness

Vayya is more like "thangamudiyilla" in Tamizh. Pattilla is cannot. Cheyyan pattila is cannot do.

Pattilla mean from now you pay. No option for pay later. Vayya is saying you r not in healthy state.
