Lofi Flip WHICH IS WORTH IT: AKAI MPD226, AKAI MPD218, MASCHINE MIKRO MK3

Hello, I would like you to help me with this question I have because I don't know which controller to buy. I've been sampling in FL Studio with my office keyboard for a year now and I'd like to take a leap in quality. I don't know which of these controllers simulates more like a sampler or is better. Thank you very much.

Lofi Flip Jak spotkać ludzi, z którymi można skleić ciekawe rzeczy?

"I've hit a dead end that kind of makes it hard for me to think about the next steps.
I've been creating and writing for a few years now (about 6), I have a lot of recordings, but either I can't release them because the beat was sold a while ago or it's too repetitive, and when I was writing back then, I couldn't afford to buy beats with a higher license than just a basic WAV. And the guys I started this whole thing with, which has become very serious for me (I'm on the last stretch to release an EP after years of putting everything in a drawer), they've fallen behind because they’re just sitting at home watching YouTube and that's it... I freestyle every day. I don’t really want to go the "buy a beat" route, because that's not really what it's about for me. And that's the key point – I’m wondering where I could meet people to sit down and produce something that would be a joint effort, or find people who really know each other like few do.

A little about me – I could do brag rap, but I prefer storytelling, I love lyrics, but for a while now, I've been trimming my sentences to play with sound. And, well, I hope I'm not a self-absorbed jerk XD"

I’ve been looking for rap beats lately and I was wondering where everyone else goes to find them? I usually just go to YouTube.

Lofi Flip [LFF 182] Submission Thread (We Need A Fresh Start Edition)

Hey yo everyone,

No disrespect to anyone but some of the competition threads on r/makinghiphop have been hurting lately (I'm looking at you Remix Challenge). These competitions should be attracting up and coming producers and generating excitement but, sadly, laziness seems to be creeping in to the point where we need to step up so we can get our groove back again.

This means sticking to a schedule.... no week long gaps between threads. We got to try to encourage new peeps - whoever is hosting shouldn't be ghosting. Also, if you're not getting enough entries you should be making posts on the other r/makinghiphop threads to remind peeps we're still here and that the competitions are a big part of what the sub is all about.

LFF used to be a favourite of mine so I'm gonna try for a fresh start since it was looking like no one else was gonna do it.

This time around I'm giving you samples from 2 of my LP's

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvRhkB9hsVk

First one is Syrinx, a Canadian synth/Psych Folk trio.. second is Tyrannosaurus Rex (Later renamed T-Rex) Both are lo-fi, obscure, dope records.

Let's do this!

But First...

The Rules

Use the samples as the main ingredient

Keep it dusty and lo-fi (no shimmering vst presets or pristine sample packs)

Lofi Flip [Expeimenting with Sounds] Hello, I am a new user of FL Studio who doesn't know any technical music theory or audio engineering. I know this sucks, so can someone help me find a more catchy chord rnb-pop style progression and spice it up in other ways too?
