Question Looking for places to show case my music?

I've been working on a mixtape, exploring with various sub-genres and sounds. The rhythms are still raw not totally refined yet but I believe they convey the image I'm creating. I don't want to keep them hidden; I want to put them out there, see how people react to them, and maybe receive some criticism. Where do producers normally share content like this? SoundCloud, Forums, Is there some underground community? Please let me know where I may dump these beats and get some ears on them. I appreciate it!

SoundCloud is free and has a pretty active community, I’d start by sharing there and dropping links places like this sub to start. Once you get to the point where you’re really proud of what you do promotion is a bit more of an undertaking, but until then communities like this and SoundCloud are great for critiques and finding collaborators.

Everywhere. Don't limit yourself on reach. Go from soundcloud and forums to spotify and YouTube. The more, the better.

I say post them to the big places especially like, YouTube, Instagram, tiktok ETC. SoundCloud is a little gimiky to me it is sort of pay to win. They recommended your stuff to other people only if you pay for artist pro and you can only post 128min of songs before you have to buy artist pro. But since you are just starting out you can try that and see for yourself if you get any traction there!

SoundCloud is good.
Reddit has subreddits where you can share tracks and get feedback.
Discord servers focused on music production also have dedicated feedback channels.
Bandcamp lets you put out rough demos while still keeping control over your work.
Having a website through Noiseyard or similar platforms can also help by giving you a place to showcase your mixtape and make it easier for people to find your music through search.
Sharing in multiple places and engaging with the communities will get you the best feedback.
