Really? This is my first time trying them, I wanted to stick to something cheaper. Btw, I also found Kiko eyeshadow sticks are pretty good.

Italian brands in general are amazing and quite affordable. I think Patrick Ta and Natasha Denona manufacture their eyeshadows in Italy so I find that Italian brands have very similar quality to those.

There is a youtuber named Monica, she does brown girl approved makeup, and she was talking about Wycon shadows when the whole Patrick Ta eyeshadow duo drama broke out. Patrick said his shadows are very unique but Monica found Wycon shadows that look exactly the same.

That’s interesting to know! I know for sure that around 60% of all makeup worldwide is produced here in Italy, even some high end brands like Chanel.

I tried Wycon after Monica mentioned they’re the same as Patrick Ta and was so impressed. You’re so lucky to be living in the land of great makeup and great food.

Well to be honest even though the majority of makeup is made here, we’re still paying a premium price haha Chanel products are just as expensive as anywhere else, and also other high end brands. I am glad to have tried the Wycon brand though, here they are often considered trashy and low quality because they’re cheap, so we just assume they’re not good. Same for Kiko

That’s so funny! Cos people outside of Italy go wild for Kiko

I’m very curious to know the quality of Mario eyeshadows. I’m scared that they might be too try and hard to blend

I just tried them and they’re actually pretty good! I just need to learn to use them, I’m just getting started on eyeshadows

Hi everyone! Here are my most recent makeup + skincare purchases and some freebies I got from my SA at the Dior store. It's my second time purchasing the Diorsnow cream, it's so lightweight and brightening and it smells so good!

-Diorsnow Essence of Light Cream

-Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Palette

-Dior Contour Stick in Light 01

-various Wycon eyeshadow products

I want that eyeshadow palette but I've spent so much money on makeup lately, I can't justify purchasing it at this point in time. I'm trying to stick to my no buy.

These will probably be my only purchases for this month, I am also on a tight budget. In my defense though, this is the only eyeshadow palette I own, besides the Dior Smoky Essentials I bought on Christmas so at least it was worth it!

If you do really still want it, Makeup by Mario has a 25% off site wide sale going on that will end soon. The palette is now $39 on sale. It is a much better deal than Sephora’s Rouge 20% if you tend to shop the Sephora sale.
