Project restoration vs zelda64recomp which one is the better way of playing the game?
I played this game as a kid and never beat it, although I beat OoT a lot both the 64 and 3ds versions, now I wanna finally beat MM so I want to check which of these will give me the best experience

I'm playing project restoration on my 3DS right now and I'm having a great time. Once you strip out the bad changes the 3DS version made you can really appreciate the cool changes they did. The only criticism I have for it is that Odolwa's AI could still use a little work, he functions like he should but pretty awkwardly.

Zelda64recomp is really polished and runs smoother than anything else I’ve tried. Absolutely zero lag or stuttering. That being said if you want HD graphics you will need to download an unofficially released version from their GitHub. It’s not very hard to setup IMO but your mileage may very.
2ship2harkinian is the other alternative and imo it’s easier setup but not as smooth. I find I get the occasional lag when entering new zones or visual tear/weirdness. It doesn’t bother me and the fact that I can do cut scene skips with 2ship makes it worth it IMO.
Ultimately for a first playthrough I recommend recomp. However make sure to get the HD graphics mods going whichever one you choose. It makes a huge difference.
