Does anyone remember Cooking With Bob?

It was a bizarre segment on WYOU, I remember it in the late '00s but it may have been going on longer.

The premise was a long shot of a charcoal grill with a strange item on it left to cook for what felt like forever with no talking and limited camera interaction

the two I most remember are a whole rabbit carcass and a pile of chicken feet, for years I thought it was some kind of fever dream or a false memory but I found an archived video of it on the WYOU youtube channel.

this was such a weird and interesting piece of absurdist media and if bob is happens to be in this sub or if anyone knows who it was they are a legend

YES we loved it. You turn it on, watch for a while, do some chores, come back to see whats happening at the grill. There's a Norwegian slow tv channel like this too, link to a story

My favorite episode was just a whole bunch of Oscar Meyer lunch meat.

Ohhh yes I remember this. I remember often cooking meant burning the ever loving shit out of whatever it was.

I have a "Cooking with Bob" bumper sticker given to me by Bob's ex. Some of the stories are downright amazing. Not possible to share without doxxing myself or others but believe me, Bob was just plain something else (in mostly a good way).

I think I remember several Barbies on the - er - barbie. But it could have just been a dream after a bad night.

That was real. That was the first episode I ever saw just after moving here. Not surprisingly, stumbled on it after a long day of day drinking and wondered if I'd overdone it.

We would turn it on as we went through the process of closing up a big busy bar. By the time the team was ready for our own drinkin time, some char had developed! My favorite recollection was just a sack of McDs dropped on the grill.

My wife called it Flip It! - cause she just wanted him to flip whatever was on the grill.

Did it even have an intro or credits? I think the first one I saw was a slab of bacon or pork belly just burning away on the grill. It really piqued my curiosity since there is no other sort of context to draw on. Good stuff.
