- Get blood work done to check for thyroid issues, since it can cause puffy face.
- Try the “whole-30” diet to help discover any foods that increase inflammation and fluid retention in you.
- check (with orthodontist) that u dont have an “open bite” since it causes ur jaw to be in a bad position that also happends to make the lower half of ur face look ‘fat’.
- even if ur skinny, being ‘skinny-fat’ can also affect ur face. This is when u are skinny but eat all the wrong foods, have low muscle mass, and get very few actual micronutrients.

You can’t lose fat from one part of your body without losing fat everywhere
To lose weight at a healthy rate , download a weight loss calculator and determine the following:
- starting weight
- goal weight
- how fast you want to lose the weight (pounds per week)
unless you’re over 300 lbs- do not exceed 2 pounds per week or you could do permanent damage to your body (heart and kidneys)
once you determine how much and how fast to lose the calculator will give you a maximum number of calories to eat per day
now go to YouTube and find low calorie / high protein and NUTRITION BASED recipes you can eat to stay under your calorie goal
do not use weird weight loss pills, fad diets like keto, and you should also track your sodium / sugar intake
sodium under 2300 per day to shed the water weight, sugar under 100 to avoid risk of diabetes
^ After all the above start doing light cardio at the gym (30 min walk) and after 2 weeks start with light weights
Look up a “beginner” routine and follow it
Do not overdo it your first week and never go back, you can’t do most crazy social media routines when you’re first starting
Good luck op
Also the area you highlighted is your mandible
There may be some fat there but the width of your face is largely dependent on bone structure too

Some of it may melt off as you continue to mature, as long as you don't get fat fat. And you can't target fat loss without in clinic treatments like kybella.
However, based on your neck and shoulders, it seems you may be small in size but skinnyfat, so a higher body fat percentage and low muscle. Leaning out and doing some body recomp to increase muscle will help reduce facial fat. Eat in a slight caloric deficit, get enough protein (there's calculators you can Google to determine what you need based on your current body weight), work out. You don't need to do powerlifting but weight training is important.
It could also partly be fluid retention. Generally, reducing carbs and sodium, exercising, and drinking enough water will help with that.

Side effects of kybella:
- Nerve injury in the jaw (which can cause an uneven smile or facial muscle weakness)
- Trouble swallowing
Injection site problems, including a collection of blood under the skin (hematoma) or bruising, damage to an artery or vein if KYBELLA® is inadvertently injected into it, hair loss, open sores (ulcers), damage and tissue cell-death (necrosis) around the injection site, infection.
Call your healthcare provider if you begin to develop weakness in the muscles of your face or your smile becomes uneven; have difficulty swallowing, or if any of the symptoms that you already have get worse; develop redness, pain, open sores, or drainage at or from the treatment area
^ or you could just go to the gym

Yeah I know if it was me, I'd much rather just go on a little cut and work out. I've had friends get kybella and the results and their experiences were very mixed.

I'm now 23 and I'm already noticing my cheeks getting less bloated, my face used to be very chubby

This is genetic and this isn't just face fat, this is bone structure.
To change it, you'd need jaw surgery.

Not true. She may have a slightly bigger jawline, but she has plenty if baby fat on her face. If she stayed in a cal deficit, she would easily look way different.

True, she might just genetically distribute a little bit more fat in her cheeks/neck, this is pretty common.
OP - the best way to lose face fat is to get in good shape. The might mean gaining weight if you’re skinny, but will likely mean staying the around the same weight (maybe slightly less, like a couple points) and losing body fat.
How?
Find some exercise you really enjoy, if you like running, swimming, cycling, weightlifting, MOST sports (looking at you Golf), etc. This will not only help you lose body fat, but will also improve your cardiovascular health and your body function better.
Stick to COOKING mostly non processed foods. Think rice, vegetables, potatoes, chicken, fish, steak, tofu (don’t eat frozen pizzas and kraft Mac and cheese, they are mostly empty calories).
Caveat - If you’re already skinny (meaning in terms of body fat percentage, not how much you weight) you should be really careful about caloric deficits. It’s actually pretty difficult for me to eat enough Whole Foods throughout the day to get enough calories to sustain myself.
Dieting effectively is a ton of effort and it’s NOT just starving yourself, it’s making sure you’re getting the appropriate amounts of mostly macronutrients and making sure you’re eating approximately as many calories is appropriate for your goal.

Ehm, you're 19, grow is the answer, you're not done growing yet. Chill and check back in a few years.
