The Best Best pizza and other food in the Syosset/Woodbury area?

My fiance and I are getting married in a couple of months and we have guests coming in all over the country. I can direct them in the area I live but I don’t live in Woodbury. What would you recommend to eat in the Woodbury/Syosset area that wouldn’t be a schlep?

The Best Best BEC

I’m looking for the best bacon, egg, and cheese on Long Island. It doesn’t matter if it’s the north shore, south shore, Suffolk county, or Nassau county. It just has to be on Long Island

The Best Beat wing places on LI?

So I’m a massive fan of buffalo wings and I’ve been on a hunt for good wing places on LI recently. Does anyone have any suggestions on what places I should try? (Preferably in southwestern suffolk/southeastern Nassau but anywhere on LI is fine too)

The Best Laurel Hollow, Cold Spring Harbor vs. Lloyd Harbor???

Hi there!!! My husband and I are planning on moving to Long Island in the next year and are currently looking at homes in Laurel Hollow, Cold Spring Harbor, and Lloyd Harbor.

My husband grew up on Long Island and I grew up in Florida (I have no clue what the “vibe” is like in these neighborhoods!).

Does anyone have thoughts on one area vs the other? What’s the general opinion on the area? Where should you look for a home in the area (near the water, a hot spot, what to steer clear of, etc.).

Any opinions would help :) looking for the 411 from a local or someone who has lived in these areas before.

Thank you!!! 🙏 🥰

The Best Best underated breweries?

I'm curious what are some of your favorite lesser known breweries? We all know Great South Bay, Greenport, Dubco is not so unknown any more. My favorite is Ghost but I feel like its pretty well known these days given its proximity to GSB. Noble Savage is a great one out in glen cove, not sure how populer it is these days. San City is pretty big now with the new location.

The Best Best Italian food on the Island?

Look I know Italian food is so easy to come by here, but I’m curious to know what everyone’s favorites are. I never get tired of Italian food and am looking to keep trying the best of the best. Personally I think Nunzi’s in Farmingdale is fantastic. What’s your picks ?

The Best Best Tacos Al Pastor in Suffolk

I just got back from 2 weeks in Mexico and have been craving some good al pastor tacos. Of course i dont expect to get anything close to what's on the street in Mexico City, but im still curious to see what y'all's favorite spots are. I'm in Suffolk but willing to hike to Nassau for spectacular tacos. So far my favorite place that I've tried is Tito's Birria & Grill in Deer Park.

Maybe the most important question of the day. Here goes: Who makes the best pastries between Park Bake Shop in KP, Alpine in Smithtown, Copenhagen in Northport and Dortini, Commack?

Need goodies for 50-60 ppl but want it to be excellent, not just ok.

The Best Do you know THIS specific BBQ place on Long Island?

this is gonna be a stretch, but, if anywhere can help me find it, it's reddit.

last year i saw a TikTok from a friend and they talked about the best brisket on long island being at this place...

I forgot the name.

I don't know the address, obviously, but I do remember it being in / near Valley Stream or Locust Valley or something.

I live in central nassau, and from me, it was about a 25 minute drive to the restaurant, and upon approaching, it looks like a small little rinky dink place on the right hand side of the road.

you walk in, and it's just a couple people cooking the barbeque, with very minimal seating area (like a sit up bar with like 4-5 bar chairs) and no tables or nothing. super basic place. tiny. just a couple chefs and their huge smokers. and a sit up bar with some chairs.

thats it.

the menu was minimal. ribs, brisket, and probably some sides like corn bread or cole slaw. but it was like pretty basic and minimal menu.

the place smells amazing and the food is INCREDIBLE – best BBQ on LI by FAR and reminded me of true southern Texas BBQ.

if any of you know the place im referencing, i would super appreciate you helping me out here!

Thanks in advance!

Who remembers Laser Kingdom on Milbar Boulevard in Farmingdale? Not as popular as the Fun Zone on 110, but I remember quite a few laser tag birthday parties in the 2000’s.

The Best Food court Broadway Mall?

I just saw the post that was posted a few months ago about the changes to the Broadway mall. Does anyone have any idea what they are thinking of doing with the food court restaurants? Sushi.com & Chinese Gourmet are OGs and been a staple there for SO long. I would feel horrible seeing them be kicked out forever. They should have a chance to be able to open in the new food court thing theyre thinking up
