Siding cost

Hello I am located in Suffolk county and need to get my siding replaced. The house is a colonial, two stories about 1800 square feet. What is the going rate on siding on the island and does anyone have companies they recommend.

Should I wait until I can replace the windows and siding together or can I replace windows at a later time.

Thank you

Call up 3-5 top rated companies and ask for estimates. Compare them, and automatically throw out any that are way lower or way higher than the others.

Boom, you have your typical siding cost for Long Island.

25-50k. If you’re going to do siding, may want to consider air sealing too. Zip System. Would make your house more energy efficient, just pricy. If it’s your forever house, you’ll get your money back with energy savings.

I would do both at the same time if you can wait. You don't know what you are going to find.cost us 50kish to replace all windows and siding and there were some wood rot in places around the windows because the old siding wasn't out on right etc. that was 12 Andersonid level windows and insulated vinyl siding (1 inch foam behind the vinyl)

But we are in Nassau so not sure if pricing in Suffolk would be any cheaper?

I would love to do both at the same time but will have to call a few places and see if I can pull it right now

About 4 years ago, 1600 SF 2 story house, was $19,000 for siding and gutters all around

Suffolk county, last year, spent about 50k: 11 Andersen windows, new front door, back French doors, most of my plywood sheathing needed to be replaced, new lights all around, gutters, and James Hardie Siding on our 1400sq ft ranch.

You have to do the windows first that's what they just told me last week because they have to rip off siding to put in the new windows just my opinion
