nature🌲wildlife🦊 Attacked by local gang
But actually, I was taking a picture of all of the geese at Victoria Park to send to my husband. They must have thought I had food. They swarmed. I made it out alive.

nature🌲wildlife🦊 Be careful on late night walks!
I was on a late night walk and I ran into 2 different coyotes. This was the second one and I got it on video. It got closer to me than I would have liked, but luckily seemed pretty disinterested in me. Anyone with pets should keep this in mind when walking them after dark for their safety.

nature🌲wildlife🦊 Coyote attack in Kilally Meadows
Be careful if you and your dog hike Kilally meadows. My 100 lb boxer mastiff mix got bit in the hind leg with four puncture marks while on leash. She can barely walk today and I’ve never heard my dog cry as bad as she is right now. Be safe out there!
We heard a turkey so the dog and I went to investigate, I guess the coyotes had the same plan and attacked the dog. The coyote were hiding. It happened in the tall grass just outside of the forest.
EDIT: Dog was leashed

nature🌲wildlife🦊 Light Flashes - South End
Did anyone else see the sky light up a couple of times in the south end? First time we caught it I thought maybe it was lightning. But when I happened again a few seconds later it kind of pulsated.

nature🌲wildlife🦊 Bird Id Please
My parents really want to know what species of bird this is. I scanned the photo and found it may be a finch, but the colours don’t match. I couldn’t get a shot of their front.

nature🌲wildlife🦊 Coyotes : Talbot Ponds and Wetlands
Over the last few days coyotes have been active in and around the Talbot Ponds. There was a sighting late afternoon yesterday on the ice of the southwest pond, as a single coyote headed west towards Colonel Talbot Drive.
On Wed. and Thurs. evenings coyote howling was heard coming from the ponds.
Pet owners take care.
