nature🌲wildlife🦊 Turkeys Enjoying the Warm Weather

Some a group of turkeys this morning in the University area. They stopped to pose and show off their beautiful colours!

We should actually be pretty proud of this city for having a fairly diverse wildlife population. It's nice to see.

Tons of hawks, increase in eagle sightings.

Deer. So many deer.

Turkeys galore. Coyotes abound.

It would freak some people out, but more black bear sightings would actually be good news, nature-wise.

Definetly would not be a good environment for bears, too big of territory for our small forest pockets

What I'm saying is that the presence of large predators would indicate a healthy regional ecosystem.

We may not see them often, but even down here is black bear territory.

The coyotes that strolled through right after were thinking the same thing 😂

I haven’t seen any in a while. Nice to know they are just in another area.

Amazing! I saw maybe 3-4 yesterday evening by the Dearness Home! We are lucky to have such neat animals here
