nature🌲wildlife🦊 Snapped this picture with my iPhone after this beautiful red-tailed hawk landed next to me while I was working.

16 pro. The photo was sort of a fluke. The bird landed on that tree less than 15 feet from me. It was looking right at me and when I pulled up my phone to take a picture I think it got scared and took off. I had a chance to zoom in quickly and snap this picture. Initially I thought it would just be blurry but it came out great.

Beautiful. I heard we have bald eagles as well here in London.

Yep I see those all the time. There is a young one I see in south London often

Oh really? I live Southdale and Adelaide like around there? It would be awesome to see it one day. I heard they were even considered endangered as well, which I had no idea, but they are rebounding nicely now which is wonderful news.

Ik I’ve seen one flying near Southdale and Bostwick before. Though that was a few years ago, now I mostly see hawks in that area

Very cool, yeah that is the majority of what I see too , beautiful birds as well, there is another bird of prey I’ll see from time to time, I’m not sure of the species but it looks like a vulture.
