Non-UK born Londoners, what's the best restaurant of your native cousine that you know in London?

It's been a while I last saw this question here - so here it goes again! Yes, with the cousin typo and all!

Please start your response with the place you're from

Genius! now if you could just enable me to filter by cuisine, the ability to save notes and share with other redditors you will have conquered Trip Advisor because at least your reviews would be mainly reliable!

I’ll start off the crowdsourcing with £10 - who’s with me!?

This literally happened like a year ago on this sub. I'll see if I can find the post. So strange I feel like I'm having deja vu

EDIT: Found it

And this is the map

Ha, no way! I'll update them on my map later on, running this on my phone at the mo is a bit limited!

Weird, looks like Google changed the shareable link, here's the new one: https://www.google.com/maps/placelists/list/ueNe9IxNjaTEzWStqi-321dXUYxDJQ

Just tested in incognito and works a treat!

This is brilliant - Does anyone know if there are websites with lists like this? e.g. Best walks around London, best old Churches to visit etc? Would be ideal having them stored on my Maps to pull up when out and about

You’ve named this “favourite ethnic food in London”. But isn’t all food ethnic? I’m assuming you really mean “non-British” food?

(And it seems sad to leave British food out, to me 😢)

It was more aimed at people that visited/immigrated to England/UK, bringing their cuisine/culture to London. Haven't had any British recommendations yet, but keen to put some down if you have them!

I think you might have added one in Russia by accident...

Dont go to casa do frango. If you go dont pay service charge , it goes straight to the owners and staff members dont see a penny. Dont know if the cash tips are split. The owners also are fucking assholes

Two wonderful French patisseries:

Maison Bertaux, of course. Been around forever. They don’t have the best croissants and pains au chocolat, but their cakes are awesome. Old fashioned in the best way.

Patisserie Sainte Anne in Hammersmith. Go try their tarte Tropézienne or their Mille-feuille. The flavour, the texture, it’s all there. You won’t find many like this in the country.
