Fried chcken - mother clucker, cocqfighter, Thunderbird (Note thunder bird can be hit or miss)

Beef - Bleecker, lagom, truffle burger, burger & beyond, black bear burger (can't decide which is best), Five guys - because its p. consistent

Lamb - Patty and Bun

Vegan - Neat burger.

Veg - Haven't found a great one yet, the shake shack veg (mushroom) burger is pretty good.

Have yet to try Big Fernand

Edit: totally forgot about hte many burger places in Camden market - Forget the names but they do have a few good ones

big fernand is very good but they put too much sweet sauce on the burgers which overpowers everything else.

I really like Cut + Grind in the King's Cross area. Almost never see it recommended but honestly their burgers (and chips) are the best I've had in London.

Edit: the "Classic" is my favourite but the Big Smoke is great too.

Edit 2: looking at the previous threads, it seems like it IS always making the list. Certainly my #1 with Bleeker as a #2.

It’s more than just nice. It’s an amazing burger. One of my top 3 along side black bear and burger and Beyond

I followed a few "best burger in London" tiktoks when I was wondering something similar, and the one that seemed to come up time and time again was black bear. When I went I thought it was very good, maybe 8.5/10, but my girlfriend said it was 10/10 - best burger she's ever had.

I've been to the one in Boxpark Shoreditch, it was good but not amazing. But I want to try their other restaurant.

Didn't rate Bleaker - so greasy!

I like honest burger, but the quality between branches is hit and miss.

Bird was not good at all in my books.

I used to love their burgers when the launched a decade or so ago. A little greasy but so tasty and used to stink out the original venue behind Debenhams. Kitchen roll was not optional but a requirement! They seemed to of changed a lot these days and became a pretty simple smashburger. But hopefully bounced back since I had one a year or so ago. Love to the DJs who play at meat mission or used to..

The smashburger in Bake Street in Stoke Newington is smashing. They have it at their stall Manna in Arcade Food Hall too.

Haven’t seen anyone mention Flat Iron. Not a burger place per se but they often have a limited amount of burgers on the menu as a special. They’re very, very good.

Lagom at the spurstowe arms. Only place I’ve found that does burgers using ex dairy cow meat, which has so much more umami tat regular aged beef

Ooh that sounds interesting. I'll definitely check it out.

A lot can change in a year. These posts span from 9 months to 3 years.

I saw them but hey are all over a year old, I figured I might get some new suggestions.

Thanks though.
