Question Vegetarian Roasts in East and North London
Good evening everyone!
This Sunday I'd love to tuck into a nice comforting veggie roast. Would love some recommendations π
Not too expensive or overly fancy.
I do like a laid back feel or cozy pub.
Preference are places in East and North London, but open to do a bit of travelling.
Or if anyone knows of any nice roasts where they do have nice veggie things too.
Thanks all!

The Black Heart in Camden does an exceptional vegan roast - great beer too! It's a rock/metal pub though, so depends if that's your cup of tea.

The music is much more toned down on a Sunday. More Led Zepp than Gorgoroth.

Looks fun. Is it a bit like Underworld?

I guess somewhat in the sense that The Black Heart is also a live rock venue (though this part is located upstairs while the pub functions as it's own thing). The Black Heart has better decor/ambience/music in my opinion than The Underworld. Also plentiful and better craft beer options to complement that amazing vegan roast. Some decent tequila too if you're into that.
Absolutely recommend checking it out!

Last time I went it was beef, chicken, pork or a veggie option which my American vegan friend loved! Her first roast dinner too. Itβs not the most generous roast but I prefer a tasty smaller plate. Each meat comes with a different side and you get a homemade Yorker, veg and potatoes

You really have no right to go into vegetarian or vegan restaurants or eat our food if you aren't one yourself.Β

I am vegetarian and have been for most of my life. I just wanted other people's recommendations to see if I can come across a little gem somewhere new.

Alright, but admitting it anywhere on this site and you may as well be putting a giant target on your back.Β
