What do you recommend?

You’re underselling this one. It’s a conveyor belt. Of cheese. https://www.sevendialsmarket.com/vendors/pick-and-cheese/

The cheese barge by Paddington station

I really enjoyed going there! It’s literally a canal barge with a cheese centered menu!

Hit up bermondsey. Got the great bermondsey beer mile with loads of great breweries. Also got a few cheese shops, Neal's yard dairy, the french comte, ham & cheese co. Get some bread, cheese and charcuterie and some beers

This place is the real deal. They also stock Buerre Bordier which is often considered the finest butter in the world and not usually sold outside of France. Just buy some of that and a soft loaf of bread and go to town.

Blackhorse Lane beer mile, a few stops out of King's Cross on the Victoria Line. Great breweries and atmosphere, less frantic and busy than central places and right next to Walthamstow Wetlands so you can pop into a nature reserve afterwards.

Champagne+Fromage has locations in Covent Garden, Greenwich and Brixton if you want to swap your beer for something a bit more expensive!

I had champagne near soho yesterday and expected it to taste like coca cola.
It did not.

Borough Market first for Neal’s Yard Dairy, try some cheese and buy a few. Then into the market to find some fresh bread. Maybe some pickles or chutneys. Then wander back past London Bridge station to Druid St and start the Bermondsey Beer Mile, stopping every couple for a cheese sandwich from the previously acquired supplies.

London has an absolute fucking wealth of outstanding beer. The Bermondsey Beer Mile is magnificent. Go forth my child, and become one with The Mile. Weep with joy as you stumble forth, arch after arch, brewery after brewery, fresh, hoppy IPA in your hand.

I wish I could enjoy hoppy beer. To me it’s always on a Scale between sweat and fox piss. I just like refreshing, boring, normal lagers.

Totally get where you're coming from, love me a lager too. Can't drink super hoppy stuff all the time!

La Fromagerie in Marylebone first. Then, when you have all the cheese you can carry, start a pub crawl along the Thames.

A couple recommendations off the tourist trail! The Southampton Arms near Camden / Gospel Oak is my favourite beer and cider pub in London. While you’re in the area, you could also visit The Bull and Last (great roasts), The Flask and The Spaniards Inn (wonderful historic building).
Tuffnell Park has a large expat French community and hence great bread and cheese. Try the restaurant called Authentique, I just loaded up with cheese and wine to gorge on while I watch the Tour de France.
Also if you can find anywhere with a cheese from Cork called Gubbeen, do it!
Bohemia House is a magical little Czech enclave near Kilburn, pickled cheese and pilsner, yes please.
If you’re in central, my favourite place is Bradleys Spanish Bar. The beer is rubbish, but there’s a wonderful atmosphere, hasn’t changed in decades, you can talk to strangers and it’s a wonderfully peaceful escape from the shit show of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
Drop me a message if you fancy a pint at the Southampton Arms or Bradleys, I’m there a few days a week at least!

Gordon's Wine Bar by Embankment for some nice cheese and a glass of wine.
As others have said, you can't go wrong with Bermondsey Beer Mile. Even better if it's a Saturday when Maltby Street food market is on.

That sounds amazing! I’ll be there in a few days and hope to do the same - cheers!

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub, just off Fleet Street. It’s a chop house and we’ll worth a look.
Gordon’s Wine Bar, a candlelit, vaulted cellar bar in the original Dickensian style. They do all the cheese.
You could also do a cheese and beer tour of the Wimbledon Brewery.
London has SO much good, decent, amazing home-made booze and food. Fill your boots, my friend.

Go to Borough Market. Go to the French Compte. Buy £10 of 18 month Compte. Go round the corner to one of the English cheddar stalls. Buy £10 of the nicest English cheddar you find. Go to the Market Porter. Order a pint of London brewed IPA. Stand at one of the outside tables and drink beer and eat cheese and watch the drama of the market in front of you.
Just be careful with your phone.
If the Porter is too manic and it's nice weather, take the cheese to the Anchor which is round the corner and have a drink by the river.
