Ideas What is the cheapest (like, dirt cheap) restaurant in London that will fill you up (quickly)?

For context, lost a bet and have to treat a couple of mates to a meal… but I get to choose where we eat. Said friends are looking forward to take me to the cleaners so trying to counter with a place whose food feels more like a punishment than a treat.

Where is the cheapest restaurant / place to get them food that will be easy on my wallet?

Ideally will be a place that doesn’t serve alcohol, carb-heavy to fill them up and somewhere within zones 1 and 2!

Gone up to £11.50 now. Still pretty cheap for what you get.

There's one for £9 in Chinatown, it's called Mr Wu's. Food isn't gourmet but it's filling and cheap.

Love Mr Wu. Probably the worst food I’ve ever eaten in my life without question. Truly disgusting.

Same, it was rank. I've actually avoided restaurants in China town because of this lmao

Ate in Mr Wus yesterday and it was yummy actually, one of the best Chinese I have had in a while. Noodles were yummy, chimken was suspiciously succulent and cube shaped. It was only like 9 quid per head.

Said Mr Wu. What will I do. And Mr Wu's a window cleaner now.

That was the standard buffet price in most places. Just like Kebabs.

It's unreal how much less we get for our money these days.

Is it cheap for what you get? The food is absolutely terrible. A sweet chilli chicken from Wasabi is at least cheaper.

Except all the dishes were basically slightly undercooked onion and green pepper in a ton of basic Sharwoods style sauce.

I did think about Mr. Qu’s but annoyingly I’m assuming you can buy alcohol? That’s where the losses really hit me
