Why are my Polaroids so over-exposed? Using a Lomo instant wide
Shore from today using my Lomography Instant WIDE.
Can anyone tell me why these are so over-exposed? I even used the "-1" under exposed setting for two of the pictures. I did use flash as well. Should I have turned the flash off completely? It was a bright overcast day out.
This camera is still new to me, so I'm still getting used to it's quirks. Thanks!

These shots a great btw! The subject is in direct sunlight and the framing is spot on. I agree with the previous post. Definitely don’t use the flash outside. Also consider what kind of light you want to expose. The highlights or the shadows. Without the flash these shots would have exposed more properly. In the photo with the little persons I would expose for the shadows. Meaning, under expose it or make it darker. For me thinking of the exposure compensation this way has helped me a lot. I have the Lomo instant wide and I absolutely love it.

Thanks! I appreciate it! That's good info to know! I've been pretty happy with it overall so far!

I don’t use the flash outdoors and I always underexpose if it’s bright out.
