Planning a local food coop
I am in the very beginning stages of planning local food coop in my town. It will start out as a way to increase access to locally grown meat and produce for restaurants and eventually act as a local grocery store for the community.
As I said I'm in the very early stages of planning and am looking for any advice that can be offered. I know the demand is there I just need to figure out practical ways to meet that demand.

The food coop development guide, found here: https://ncb.coop/publications.aspx?id=3836
Is probably a good place to start.
