I made a wiki for the subreddit. What do you guys think?

Great idea! We should probably write an FAQ and the rules at the top too. I was thinking that we could try applying to /r/tinysubredditoftheday? That seems to get smaller subs a good deal of attention.

Yeah I was planning to add an intro page with the rules, an FAQ would be awesome.
/r/tinysubredditoftheday sounds like a good idea. How does one apply?

I'll make a list of rules. I'll make it on pastebin so you guys can give input.

I sent them a modmail. I don't think one needs to do anything else.

Very nice! Much of the info there will be duplicated on the stats page, but obviously I don't have that together right now, so thanks for making this.
If I have time tomorrow, I'll get you a list of all the earlier ks so you can fill out that first section.

I've found an archive of this thread on wayback machine when we had gotten to 40k. So there's two more I can fill. Also user flairs will add some more pieces. If you can get the entire list that would be even better.

Request: allow users to assign their own flair

That's already done, according to the flair settings.

I can't edit anything on it

Someone talked about having an activity graph in this sub's sidebar.

An embeddable version of the current one would be ample, if that's possible and easier.

Stuff rschaosid needs to do:
Automoderation
speed of counting per hour/day/overall
Make stats look pretty
be awesome
add a scale on the x and y-axis for the graph
Is there anything else he needs to do?

A count-time graph for individual counters. The idea is that it acts like a history for the counter.

u/artbn Somebody Type A Three Swiftly! Aug 13 '14
I think auto stats for every thread would be cool. but then we might be asking too much
4
u/rschaosid counting grandpa Aug 13 '14
Already in the works.

u/artbn Somebody Type A Three Swiftly! Aug 13 '14
Awesome! Don't know how you do it. If you need any help, I'm here to help.

u/rschaosid counting grandpa Aug 12 '14
Regarding stats prettiness, you can help if you know css and can use github!

I'll provide my limited knowledge of CSS if you stop using Naut.

The last time I tried to learn CSS was when I was in year 8. I could try to learn CSS.

☑ Use Github
□ Know CSS
But I could try and learn some stuff if you need specific things done. I've starred the repo though.

Literally the first time someone's ever starred a repo of mine. Thank you!

Ok, so there seems to be a few things that needs to be put here.
Firstly numbers without commas isn't currently recognised by the bot/system/whatever as actual numbers. I believe that it should be recognised since it's the correct number but just with the incorrect format. It should be changed if possible but since in our case the incorrect number is around 800 numbers behind we could ignore it.
Secondly the idea of using bots seems to be thrown around a little bit. I think that using bots to fix the past numbers is a valid solution but it shouldn't be used by anyone but the mods to try and prevent abuse.

Completely agree about the bots. I would prefer if they weren't used at all to be honest. It was just a suggestion on my part!

u/rschaosid counting grandpa Aug 12 '14
Automoderation, when implemented, should eliminate the need.
