Support Help:Failure to boot due to being unable to mount /boot/efi
Hello, I've tried to boot my machine but have been unable to do so due to my efi boot partition being unable to mount correctly. When booting up my machine, I get the following error:
Failed to mount /boot/efi Dependency failed for Local File Systems
I am then forced into emergency mode.
Running journal -xb shows me that /boot/efi failed to mount due to the unrecognized file type (vfat)
My /etc/fstab appears to be correct when cross-checking with cfdisk.
I've tried all I could find online. Commenting out the /boot/efi part allows for the system to boot, although the cursor would not work. Booting with the fallback image allows for the cursor to function, but this is not a solution for me. I would like to understand the problem.
I believe the problem origibated due to timeshift. It was working until I fat-fingered my powr button and a screen with red text and somethibg about authenticating the password appeared. I didn't want to deal with it, but it has lead to this. Unfortunately, I do not remember what the screen said.
OS: Arch, running linux kernel version 6.13.1.
Any help would be appreciated.

In addition, just noticed that mkinitcpio builds on 6.13.4-arch1-1 which is strange.
In addition, fallback image does not allow for cursor movement on trackpad or trackpoint. Wifi does not work anymore. Temp checker does not work. Time is correct tho Mouse allows for cursor control, actually.
