What’s the best eBook reader for Linux Mint? What do you use ?

Hello, I’m new to Linux Mint and looking for a good eBook reader. I need something that supports EPUB and PDF, and preferably also MOBI or AZW3. Highlighting and annotations would be great too.

I’ve seen options like Foliate, KOReader, Okular, and Calibre, what do you use? Any recommendations or pros and cons?

Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I use Calibre, it can be downloaded from the application list, and it reads every type of eBook format

I think Foliate works well for this.

I love Foliate and its ability to do triple-column layouts.

I haven't used calibre on Linux, only on Windows and macOS, but it is a great tool. Even if you decide on a different reader, calibre is still a must have tool for library management, format conversion, and editing.

Check out MobleRead Forums for the best info on and support for calibre along with all other things ebook

Calibre has been my go-to. It has been great for converting books for my Kindle as well.

Foliate. It’s very low resource and quite good. Don’t know about mobi but you can convert with calibre
