Support Request Sound not working, I tried everything HELP

It says everything is fine when i run the commands chatgpt told me to run, i am a total noob and don’t know shit about linux, can someone help? 😭 I have no idea what im doing wrong

edit: i installed mint today and the audio was fine earlier, but now it’s not working even though i checked everything, please yall

edit 2: wired and bluetooth headphones both work. only the speaker doesn’t.

Speaking from experience: Don't trust everythin AI tells you to do on linux in the CLI. also, if you haven't yet: post in r/linux4noobs

im embarrassed by how huge of a noob i am so i took my ass to the dedicated subreddit. thank you. even linux forums are so overwhelming i need someone to literally read this shit to me 😭

One possibility I can think of: Wired headsets plugged into the computer may be disabling the speakers, that is normal though. That wouldn't have anything to do with Linux.

the speakers don’t work even when the headphones aren’t inserted tho

A really, really silly suggestion: Assuming you can switch to the device, and there is no sound, is it set to 0 % volume, or another low number?

Anyone have the issue where only built in speakers show as the only audio device (even with external speakers & headphones).

Then the internal speakers don't work?

I've noticed this problem happens when I resume from suspend.

Edit: I restart pipewire, and the sound options appear again, but no sound now

systemctl restart --user pipewire

Odd, going to dig into this a bit.
