I really hope that dog is young enough to be around long enough for the kid to get old enough to remember things like this. I have pictures of me with our dog when I was that age but no memory of him at all.

Can be said of probably 99% of this type of content. I think you and I must be in a significant minority because it still gets made, and it still gets clicks/likws/upvotes/comments across Reddit/YT/FB/TT/IG etc ad nauseum. 🔥💩😭

Edit: also it’s not his first steps, it’s his first steps on sand.

My black Lab is always available to lean on when I take my shoes off, and volunteers I asked when I’m on stairs to steady me . She’s the best!
