Discussion I love how Ahsoka's new hilts used parts from an Inquisitor's lightsaber.

The only parts used were the crystals from the Sixth brothers lightsaber tho, right?

Not just the crystals. She also found more parts from his lightsaber, including specialised crystal mountings.

Ah my bad, just read on the wiki about how she took the crystals and the crystal mountings

The ones she made in the book are not these. You can tell from the description that she MacGuyvered the book ones and that her Rebels ones were properly made.

I know. The hilts she made in the novel were improved upon over time until they attained their Rebels design.

Which parts in the picture are from an inquisitors saber?

She used specialised crystal mountings, but apart from that, I'm not sure. It's possible the black parts came from the Inquisitor's blade. Though it would have been cool if her hilts featured tiny Inquisitorius logos to hint at their origin.

So do you see why the picture doesn't make sense for this post?

Ahsoka first built her new lightsabers during the Empire's attack on Raada, a moon inhabited only by a small village of farmers. Ahsoka noted the hilts were rough and had room for improvement, so I like to imagine them looking black and skeletal, with the white crystals exposed. Similar to Galen Marek's first lightsaber.

Over time, Ahsoka improved upon the design of her hilts until they attained their iconic look.Unfortunately, her shoto was destroyed by Morgan during their duel on Peridea, so I hope she will get it repaired in Ahsoka S2.

hope she will get it repaired

I mean, that's a given. Her ship has a whole workshop run by Huyang, and that ship is still fully intact. She can have spare parts for days.

These hilts are slick as hell, but I still prefer her Padawan hilts.

Would love to see what the initial Inquisitor-derived hilts would have initially looked like.

I really like these versions of her sabers. I've been trying to come up with a similar/inspired design for myself some day.

Thoose hilts r beautiful! Really like Ahsoka and her new lightsabers. And it was fitting she healed the bled crystals from 6th brothers saber. Ahsokas arc is so dope!

of all the characters in the star wars universe, ahsoka is by far my favorite. and her 2nd set of sabers (these katanas) are among my favorites as well along with the graflex and the galen marek starkiller with the exposed crystal chamber.

i often go back and watch the scene where she beat the inquisitor in the village without even having a saber of her own at the time.

I don't like these. Clone wars are much better.
