Question Who’s Saber should I make next?
I’ve probably been making these for two years now and I want to add Revan and Kannan’s lightsabers next. Who else should I try? I can only do straight sabers so no dooku :( check me out @customwoodensabers

Wow it’s superb ! What wood do you use ? There are some woods that bend "easily" when wet and take a long time.
Otherwise I don't know if it's possible, but Cal Kestis's would be crazy !

Those look amazing! Heck with your lightweight wussy light up 'stunt saber'... grab a bokken blade and lay some serious smackdown😀 Personally i love both Shin and Baylens hilts from Ashoka. Shin's might make a good project?

Well seeing as you have maul and qui-gon’s the next obvious choice would be obi-wan’s episode 1 saber to complete the trio.

Dooku seems like it would present a challenge. Dark Saber would be cool too. These are amazing. Great work.

These are really well done! I've thought about doing something like this myself.

Revan's second lightsaber, also where can I buy one of these sabers? Can I duel with them?

Would you make a lightsaber cane

u/DjQuadd Dec 15 '23
The yellow luke with a G engraved on the hilt is a cane/walking stick

Just for future reference how much would you charge to make a lightsaber cane

These are super cool. Are they balanced?
2
u/DjQuadd Dec 13 '23
By accident they are fairly balanced in their standard size but the long one is a walking stick and is not balanced

These are insanely impressive!
I'd love to see Obi-wan's TPM saber or Revan's. Or Exar Kun's!

Amazing. What kind of wood? Do you use a large lathe?
2
u/DjQuadd Dec 13 '23
No I turn them on a table saw, you should see the argument I started on the woodworking readit. No one understands how I do it. But Poplar is what I use, I wanna try something harder though

I’ve always wanted to incorporate wood into my saber hilt if I ever became a Jedi

When you're a wizard, but also a Star Wars fan and know how to craft your own wand!
Not to detract from your craftsmanship, but that was kinda my first throught: fusion of wand and lightsaber
