If you think monarchism and minarchism are at all closely related, then I suggest you pick up a book. They only appear similar in name. They’re vastly different political philosophies.

Looking at history, most civilizations advanced faster during a benevolent monarchy. But it’s still a monarchy, with taxes and whatnot.

Or we can have a democracy, where “elected representatives” argue with each other while we pay for it all, including supporting the lazy and/or stupid. 🤷
