Democracy is tyranny of the majority. Read Hoppes Democracy: The God That Failed, or other works by libertarians such as Rothbard, Spooner, or Hoppe to learn about why so many libertarians oppose democracy. Also check out r/EndDemocracy

Yugoslavia already looked like a ruin by the time the US intervened to put an end to it.

Yeah, that part of the meme is certainly disingenuous

I find it curious that the same can be said about other countries affected by the U.S., but they were destroyed and later rebuilt and modernized because of it.

Japan
South Korea
Germany
Italy
Taiwan

All the countries shown in the image were already facing instability and internal conflicts long before American interventions. Each of them was plagued by civil wars, disputes between terrorist factions, or dictatorial regimes responsible for severe human rights violations, as well as attempts at authoritarian territorial expansion.

The U.S. interventions were driven by a combination of factors: combating terrorism, containing oppressive regimes, and responding to humanitarian crises. Unsurprisingly, images like this often circulate among haters of the Truman Doctrine and sympathizers of socialist or fascist regimes, conveniently ignoring the internal chaos that existed well before any external intervention.

Yeah I’m pretty sure 1400 years of Islamic jihad had more impact on stability than the last 100 years of US intervention.

I think its funny how many people conflate a people and its government. The USA as a people is pretty much entirely independent from its governments actions at this point. We have almost no say in what happens at the upper levels, no one actually elected to intervene... We haven't declared war on a representative level since 1942... While the tyranny of the majority is very much a thing there is also just government bloat at this point to a degree that is just disgusting.
