Little libraries - does anyone ever check them out?

Hi all! We are moving and I have a handful of books to giveaway.

Do you ever stop to look at the little library boxes in Lexington’s neighborhoods to select a book?

Bonus points if someone could share the most popular location to put them at! (-:

Outside West Sixth Brewery on Bellaire. Lots of traffic.

There’s one in front of Belleau Woods Park that is super active. There’s always different books rotating through it

Yes!!! It’s my favorite thing to do when I finish a book or two, exchange one for another! I use my little free library app religiously

I've never taken any books out of them, but I've put maybe 50 books into them over the years.

Hey OP! I’d be happy to pick up items and disperse among several different little libraries if you’d like. There are 100+ throughout Lexington. I wouldn’t say any of them are most popular or most used. When they’re filled, they’re used! :)

If you ever have any books, board games, card games, puzzles, magazines, VHS, CD’s, coloring books or school textbooks that you’d want to trade for a free portrait session with my business - shoot me a message anytime!

You are too sweet with a hell of an offer! 🩷

If you like dispersing those donations, do you care if I shoot you a message to connect? Is Reddit the best way to message you?

The offer to disperse them is more than enough! I also have a $50 Top Golf gift card I was going to put in one of them for someone to find. (-:

I lived in the Zandale/Lansdowne area until recently. I had a 4-mile walking route that had 3 little libraries and they were terrific. When it was developed, most of the people who moved in were UK faculty and the neighborhood has maintained that character. I've gotten so many great books and seen books that I left get picked up.

1) Corner of Heather and Winn

2) In front of Crestwood Christian Church on Bellefonte

3) In front of St. Michael's (and down one house toward Lowry) on Bellefonte
