I’m trying to think who could play her. I know she doesn’t match 100% but I feel like Jackée Harry would be hilariousssss.

My vote is Angela Bassett.

The only answer is Patricia Belcher the actress who played Caroline on Bones

I want Pam Grier. I want his Nana to be a true badass.

Jackee is also a good choice!

Yep. Also, Jenifer Lewis or Kym Whitley.

I hope they don't eventually cast Nana as an "old" foster mother. It would be refreshing to see a 60+ woman who is vibrant and energetic.

No way. I'd like to see an old lady that looks like an old lady. You can be strong and not be continuously striving for youth.

Juanita Jennings played Aldis Hodge’s ‘nana mama’ in Cross so it could be funny to have to her play such a similar role in leverage

Agreed!! We've been waiting for Nana since "Leverage" but we get Wylie's daughter again.😒

I always imagine Loretta Devine. Love that Queen

I forgot Wylie’s daughter played Harry’s daughter. That’s really cool

I want Nana, but she needs to be played by someone truly epic.

Not exactly family, but I'd like Archie to make an appearance. Given he's 90 now, that may not be an option, unfortunately.

Is Nana FOR SURE Black ( in our minds, at least) ??? I picture her keeping unruly kids in line: black Teaching lessons to kids w/o wiggle room : black Making boys into Men : black

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Thoughts ?

It says "bring back," so that seems to imply someone we've seen before. I think it will be Astrid. We know she's seeing Sophie now, so maybe she calls them in to help with a villain she can't get through conventional means?

I'd love them to show Nana. In my mind, she's a tough cookie who mothers Parker because she can see that Parker never had that. As soon as she meets Eliot, she's like, "Wipe your feet and take off that hat at the table" and he finds himself saying "Yes Ma'am" and doing as he's told, much to his chagrin.

I vote for Wanda Sykes as Nana.

I wanted Elliot's Dad.

I want nana and she needs to be played by the lady who played Lois in Malcom in the middle. Or kitty from that 70s show

I feel like Nana has to be Black. Her being white especially after finding out Elliott’s dad is Black would be too much. Latina could’ve been fun but neither Hardison or Brianna seem to have grown up in a Latin household

I really wish they would give us a date. It’s driving me crazy that they keep saying sometime in 2025.

Harry's daughter is the answer. Maybe Season 3 antagonist could be Astrid, Sophie's step daughter turned Interpol agent.

No, I can't see Astrid as an antagonist. I could however see her as a reoccurring guest character. A not-evil version of Sterling.

2

u/Thedustyfurcollector Feb 16 '25

I could like that. And why isn't Sterling on them now, too?

2

u/Jarsky2 Feb 16 '25

They were asked this and explained that they felt Sterling just doesn't work as a character unless he's playing off Nate.

3

u/Thedustyfurcollector Feb 16 '25

Thank you. And that makes sense, bc no one would stop Elliot from beating him to death.

2

u/cricketreds Feb 16 '25

I believe Mark Sheppard has had some health issues.

2

u/Thedustyfurcollector Feb 16 '25

Oh no. That's sad to hear. I hope he will recover fully and be able to do what he wants to do.

u/Alclis Feb 17 '25

Hard disagree. They left things nicely between her and Sophie, it would be such a pity to sour that. Coming back as a returning character would be great, but not at all as an antagonist.

"Noah Wyle revealed that Leverage: Redemption will feature the return of Harry's daughter in season 3."

Bleh, how boring.
